College Credit Registration

Spring 2021 Registration
Aquinas Institute (AI) courses are offered either for college credit or for catechetical instructional credit. The college credit comes through the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans. The catechetical instruction credit comes exclusively through AI and can be used only toward a catechist diploma through Aquinas Institute.

AI credit student enrollees who meet the admission requirements of the University of Holy Cross (UHC) shall be admitted to UHC via electronic admissions, enrollment, and registration. If ACT scores are not available, the student will be permitted to take an ACCUPLACER placement test at UHC at no cost. AI students for credit must be in compliance with the deadlines that are published on the UHC website (http://www.uhcno.edu/).

The steps to register for one who desires to take the course for college credit is as follows:

1. Student must apply as a undergraduate non-matriculating Aquinas Institute student with University of Holy Cross. To apply, go to their website and apply. In the "major" category scroll down and choose "non-matriculating/Aquinas Institute."

2. Once the student has applied and been accepted, he or she should contact the registrar and will be helped to complete registration for the class (or classes) desired. Students have until August 15th to register for Fall 2019 AI classes.
